Fortunately, yoga for the pelvic floor is a great choice that can both stretch and strengthen the pelvic floor while working the entire body. This fitness option is beginner-friendly, offers lots of modifications for your pelvic floor concerns, and meets your body where it is. You don't have to worry about crazy hand-stands or insta-perfect poses. ​ Every body deserves a chance to get fit, and pelvic floor yoga might be a great option for you.

I'm sorry you are struggling with pelvic floor concerns, and I know what you are going through. After delivering baby #2, all of my organs "down there" prolapsed. My bladder was grade 2, and the pressure was awful. Doctors said surgery was my option, but I declined. I gave up on distance running, basketball, and jumping with my kids. My active life was gone.
After nine years, I asked for a referral to PT. Several months in, I started to apply what I was learning to yoga and my life began to change. With consistent practice, I realized my symptoms were improving, and now I can jump and run and hike again. I'm myself again.
As a certified yoga instructor with training on pelvic floor yoga, it's not my mission to prevent people from suffering as long as I did. My classes are not a treatment option, but the results of consistent practice may surprise you!

What is Yoga Below the Belt
We offer yoga classes that are specifically designed for people with pelvic floor dysfunction, so that you can exercise in a way that supports your organs "down there" while you exercise.
Every pose is selected and modified with your needs in mind, with cues to help you stretch and strengthen their pelvic floor muscles.
Video classes are designed with lots of tips on how to adjust for your pelvic floor concerns, and the live classes focus on poses and cues specifically selected for the concerns of the students in the class.
This program was created to give women like you an exercise option that doesn't worsen your symptoms. In time, we hope you'll notice changes in your body for the better. The goal is to help you get fit enough to start participating again in the activities you love, without worrying about pain, pressure, or peeing your pants when you laugh.
